The Digital Space Lab explores how complex systems shape our world — and why they have become increasingly difficult to understand, govern and navigate.

Across three connected volumes, the Clarity Atlas moves from epistemic foundations, to a structural diagnosis of the planet in the Anthropocene, to a concrete infrastructural response. The focus is not advocacy or ideology, but clarity: making complex realities intelligible enough to enable informed decision-making across science, business, politics and civil society.

Volume I: Clarity in Complexity

Why understanding fails in complex systems — and how it can be restored.

This volume examines the cognitive and structural reasons why orientation breaks down in highly interconnected systems. It establishes an epistemic framework for thinking clearly under conditions of complexity. It does not propose solutions or policies. It provides conceptual clarity.

Volume II: Terra Economica

The Earth as the physical outcome of economic activity.

This volume offers a structural description of the planet in the Anthropocene. It analyzes how global economic networks shape landscapes, ecosystems and material cycles, and why these dynamics remain largely unreadable for those who act within them. It is a diagnosis, not a prescription.

Volume III: Tangled Webs

A transparency infrastructure for complex economic systems.

This volume describes the design of a transparency database that makes economic networks and their ecological, social and health-related impacts visible, comparable and accessible.

Its purpose is not to direct behavior, but to enable informed choice.
